Today we will start our 14 Days Morocco tour package from Casablanca via Tangier by a full-day city tour with an official guide and during our tour, we’ll see every ins and outs of this city. First, we’ll explore the splendid city of Fes and its great medina “ Fes-El Bali ”. So we’ll start the day at the Royal palace and walk over the old Jewish quarter, across one of the towers Borj and visit the cemetery Bab-Fettouh to enjoy the panoramic view of the white sea houses of the medina. After that we’ll come to Bab Boujloud, the gate that leads to the inside medina, then we’ll move to see the oldest and most famous Tanneries in the world, here we can have a lookout to see the workers as well as they’ll be glad to tell you about the different steps of their work.
After that, we’ll visit the Nejjarine museum; the place of wooden crafts and arts and then we’ll continue to explore the traditional tools, furniture, carpets, and musical instruments. Last but not least, we’ll visit some of the spectacular ancient buildings such as the Medersas of Bou-Inania, Al Attarine, the religious school of Quran studies, Al-Karaouine mosque, AL-Karaouine university as the oldest continually operated university in the world, also we’ll visit an important historic monuments “ Idriss II tomb ”.
Overnight in Fes
Today we will leave Fes city and travel toward Merzouga desert, passing through Ifran with its chalet-like houses called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then continue to the queen of the Medium Atlas; Azrou city. This city is well known for its Atlas cedars forest populated by Barbary apes, after that we will move to Errachidia, Passing through many Kasbahs and palm groves we head towards the adobe-colored city of Er-Rachidia and Erfoud. Later on, the scenery will change as well as we start seeing the golden dunes from the road. The great sand oasis of Merzouga desert; is an amazing area of polite, apricot, colored sand extensions as far as the eye can see. We will then proceed to our hotel to put our luggage and rest. We can go outside to see the big oasis of the Sahara desert of Morocco.
Overnight in Merzouga – Hotel
Today after breakfast, we will head into the desert to start our explorative journey of the area. Morning wake up early to enjoy the sunrise view as the sun rises over the dunes which give the sand an impressive mix of colors. Then, in this morning we will explore the area a bit. Also, we can visit the ruins in Rissani village with a local market. Then, we will move to explore Khamlia village where we will listen to the Gnaoua music played by the black men with descendants from Sudan, we can dance or just relax and listen to Gnaoua music.
We will get back to our luxurious camp on a camel caravan guided by a local Guide, the manly camel was a desert life pole over the centuries, and is being used to ship precious cargoes from Sub-Saharan Africa to the trading ports of the Mediterranean coast. We can ride or walk alongside as we reach the pace of the caravan led by Berber guides and marvel at the awesome spectacle of the desert and the solitude that comes with it. On our way to the desert camp, we will visit the Nomads that still live in this region and stop to enjoy some mint tea with them. We will also discover the beauty behind this region, and then slowly head to our camp.
After that, we will move to our comforts and luxury private desert camp where we will enchanted with mint tea and dates. The desert camp sits between the big golden dunes of Morocco’s Sahara desert which gives an impression of being calm in the vast African desert. Above all, we will have a delicious traditional dinner prepared by the local people and followed by Campfire and Berber music under the starry African sky. Nothing compares to the millions of stars, silence, and tranquility of the Sahara desert. Next, we will go to rest in luxury canvas tents, the tents en-suits with a king sized-bed that feels like stepping back into one of the stories from the Arabian nights.
Overnight in Merzouga – Desert Camp
Today we will wake up early to enjoy the magnificent sunrise of Merzouga desert Sahara. After we have breakfast and shower, we will make our trip onward to Dades. Passing through the Berber village of Tinjdad, then we will head into the magnificent Todra gorge. Called the Grand Canyon of Morocco “ Tinghir ”. Then we will see its fantastic rock walls that change colors to magical effects as the sun hits it. These 300-meter cliffs of limestone shaped weirdly and 15 meters separated from each other. We can enjoy our time in the gorge where we can often meet the Nomads. Many deserted Kasbahs, nomadic brick villages, and green oases. After that, we will continue our route to explore Dades valley. With its charming upper view before we continue to our hotel for the night.
Overnight in Dades
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Marrakech. Passing through the valley of roses; the center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Acres of Persian roses grown and harvested here to create rose water. Creams, in addition to soaps prized throughout Morocco and the world. Continuing along the road of thousand Kasbah, and skoura oasis to Ouarzazate. “ the gate of the desert ” built-in 1928 by the french. Ouarzazate is a site on the highland at 1160 m, and where the Daraa rivers join with astonishing splendid valleys. It’s the starting point of excursions to “ Dades ”, the East oasis, the road to the South, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. It is above all, Ouarzazate is an open door to the exciting adventures of the great south.
Continue to explore the UNESCO heritage Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah. Declared by UNESCO in 1987, this Kasbah is famous becuase of several famous films and series made here. Such as, Gladiator(2000), Sahara(2005), Babel(2006), Game of Thrones (2011). This fortified Ksar is located in the province of Ouarzazate in the Draa Tafilalet region of Morocco. Next, we will continue along The highest road in the Atlas mountains. Tizi n’Tishka pass to finally reach Marrakech for a restfull evening.
Overnight in Marrakech
We will begin our holiday in Morocco with a guided city tour in Marrakech. This city also called “the red city or city palms. It is an ancient imperial city in western Morocco. Known for its mosques, palaces, and gardens. Our guided tour will start by visiting the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, Badiaa Palace with many other interesting points. After that, we can to take a stroll around the famous world square of Djamaa El-Fna. For a fascinating time with the snake charmers and the tastiest fresh overcrowding orange juice then we will proceed to explore the souk “market” and get the chance to see the local artisans lamp and taste the scents of all spices. Moreover, our last leg on Marrakech end at the spectacular Koutoubia mosque. Built in the 12th century and has a large square with a garden that illuminates with light during the night.
Overnight in Marrakech
We’ll meet you at your hotel in the morning and then start our day trip from Marrakech to Ourika valley in the High Atlas Mountains. We will continue along the way and enjoy the panoramic view of the Green valley. After we reached the Setti Fadma area, known for its seven waterfalls, wonderful streams, and amazing cliffs. Here we will meet our local guide who will take us for a hike to the first waterfall where we will have the opportunity to swim If we are lucky enough we will get the chance to experience watching local monkeys climbing the walnut trees and throwing nuts on the rocks and climb back down to share them with us.
Next, we will explore villages that still have medieval agriculture traditions with the Berber culture. Over time, we’ll take memorial photos on the green Ourika valley with the local people. And then after we have time to enjoy our lunch in a precious restaurant that features an amazing view of the high Atlas Mountains, we will go back to Marrakech.
Overnight in Marrakech
You will have the opportunity to discover the authentic beauty of Morocco’s nature through Ouzoud waterfalls day trip from Marrakech. we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive toward Ouzoud cascades. Ouzoud is a perfect place to relax and refresh far from hustle and bustle. It is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in North Africa, located 150 km away from Marrakech. We will begin our tour by exploring the Berber culture as well as the land on our hike through the grove of olives to reach the depth of the waterfalls.
Here if you like swimming you can swim and taste the cool waterfall’s water. Upon our arrival at Ouzoud village, we will see the amazing cascades' views which plunge 110 m into the pool below. Continue on our tour to a viewpoint. Here we can have some fresh orange juice with a short ride on a traditional board boat at the bottom of the waterfall where we will admire the beautiful view of the Ouzoud waterfalls. And during our lunch in a Berber restaurant, we will enjoy the magnificent views of the waterfalls which look like a breathtaking scene. After that, we will take our step back to Marrakech.
Overnight in Marrakech
On this lovely day, we’ll leave Marrakech and drive to Essaouira, where we will visit Essaouira’s port city. The fortified rampart of the old city in Essaouira. Moreover, it's used to be a set in the prevalent series Game of thrones. This port was previously known as Mogador and was known for its wonderful blue boats. Here we’ll take some time to enjoy the charming sight of Essaouira.
Next, we will move to visit the great and vibrant square of Moulay El Hassan. And explore the smallest streets of Essaouira city that are filled with fantastic local artisans’ handicrafts. On our route, we will visit the Berber women association. Which produces Argan oil. And visit the tiny workshop which specializes in ornate paid work using Thuya wood “a local conifer”. And during our tour, we’ll enjoy a fresh fish lunch in the souk ( Market) with the locals. After that, we can come along for a walk over the beach. Besides, during the sunset for the most unbelievable view.
Overnight in Essaouira
On this day, we’ll drive from Essaouira to Casablanca to visit the modern city and the home of the finance business and industries in Casablanca. This city is located in the center of western Morocco about 95 km south of Rabat. Casablanca is an economic country’s capital that has a special place in the state of Morocco, and it includes the largest Airport in Morocco.
Our visit to Casablanca will begin with a visit of Mohamed V square and the visit of the astonishing mosque of Hassan II which was built by Bouygue, designed by Michel Pinseau, and completed in 1993. Hassan II mosque is the second largest mosque that has the second world’s tallest minaret at 210 meters in Africa after the Algiers grand mosque. Next, we will have time for lunch and then we continue the exploration of Casablanca city by heading into the medina to discover the modern culture, here we can make a stroll around the corniche row and Atlantic boardwalk that are shined by many restaurants. We can enjoy dinner in one of these restaurants before we move to our hotel for the night.
Overnight in Casablanca
Today we will move from Casablanca to visit Rabat. The political and administrative capital of the Morocco kingdom founded in the 10th century as Ribat “ fortified monastery ”. Named Rabat Al-Fath by Yacub El Mansour, the 3rd caliph of the Almohad caliphate in the 12th century. In Rabat, we will see the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V which is a Royal tomb located in front of Hassan tower. Our visit of Rabat will include the Sultan Yacub El Mansour spot, and the Kasbah of Udaya as a colonial heritage, also we’ll explore the old city of Rabat with the smallest streets and take our look at the colorful fishing boats along the river. After the visit of Rabat, we’ll move to Tangier for the night.
Overnight in Tangier
After breakfast, we’ll explore Tangier, this city is a Moroccan port in the Gibraltar strait that has been an important strategic gateway between Africa and Europe. The visit to this city will start by visiting Sparatel cope, the lighthouse which marks the convergence of the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean white sea about 14 km west of Tangier. After that, we’ll visit the Hercules caves that have been inhabited since the Neolithic period, where you’ll have a much-photographed view. 5km away and back to the medina where we’ll have some time to visit the Kasbah museum of Mediterranean culture and wander around ST Andrew’s church for a spot of gravestone reading after that we’ll visit the latest art exhibition at Ibn Khaldoun cultural center. Later on, we’ll move to Chefchaouen.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
The art of this new day is Chefchaouen. This blue city is a charming place with strong Andalusian connections. Chefchaouen is the most stunning town in morocco. There were many Jews and Moors who fled during the Spanish Inquisition. The visit to Chefchaouen includes a short hike to the ruins of a Spanish mosque. To enjoy the fantastic panoramic view. And a visit to Ras El-Ma, where we’ll discover the source of the freshwater of the city (The mountains). After that, we’ll take a stroll through the great Kasbah and garden. Next we’ll have time to walk along the old city and enjoy the quiet streets with the local people.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
Today we will leave the blue pearl city and head to the Middle Atlas Mountains, continuing to Volubilis. This roman ruins is best preserve archaeological site in morocco. Declared by UNESCO as the world heritage site in 1977. It is features by many amazing mosaics saved in situ. Volubilis is about 33 km north of Meknes. Continuing our way to Meknes; the sixth largest city in Morocco that’s worth the visit, we will see the magnificent Bab El Mansour, the king’s tomb site at the heart of the medina; what remains the imperial city.
